この曲は1966年に発売された両A面シングル曲であり、もう片面は『Eleanor Rigby』である。アルバム『Revolver』『Yellow Submarine』に収録されている。

リンゴがリードボーカルを務める数少ない曲のうちのひとつである。

その他にも『Octopus's Garden』などがある。

私はリンゴのほのぼのとした感じの声がすごく好きで、この曲を聞いただけで子供のころの3チャンネルを思い出すような不思議な感覚に陥る。

歌詞も単純で分かりやすく明るい。

この曲一つで頭の中にアニメを見せられているかのようである。
